Entrepreneurship is essential in promoting innovation and creating jobs. Based on theory and supported by best practices, IÉSEG offers a unique opportunity for future students, professionals and entrepreneurs to explore the world of business creation.
Thanks to specific content, testimonials, practical experiences and the presence of an incubator on both campuses, IÉSEG supports its students, Executive participants and graduates in their future projects.
Incubator
The IÉSEG incubator, present on both Lille and Paris campuses, offers three courses to support project leaders in the construction and realization of their ideas.
- SPARK: workshops open to anyone wanting to test the validity and structure of an idea.
- START: a 12-month program to launch a business, acquire first customers and develop turnover. Open to anyone in the IÉSEG ecosystem (at least one member of the team) with a mature project (validated idea, structured vision) – UPON SELECTION
- SCALE: meetings with mentor entrepreneurs and business partners in the same sector to expand their business. Open to anyone who has had a business for more than 2 years and wants to expand into other markets and territories.
Entrepreneurship in training
Initial training:
Bachelor level courses introduce students to entrepreneurship, while Master’s students have the opportunity to pursue a two-year specialization in entrepreneurship and innovation. They choose from a wide range of electives, for example topics such as “A to Z of Entrepreneurship”, “Entrepreneurial Finance”, or “Writing Effective Business Plans”.
All students in the Master program can apply to participate in the module entitled (“Business Creation Project – PCE”): under the guidance of a group of academic and professional experts. Each year, about 70 students develop a business creation project and a detailed business plan. At the end of the semester, they ‘pitch’ their concept to a panel of experts.
