Sport represents a major economic sector. It unites as well as divides crowds, influence society and communities and has an impact on the environment. The 2024 Olympic Games therefore have a strong social and environmental ambition. How can sport serve the community? How can it be a force for cohesion and inclusion? How can sportspeople and their ecosystems (equipment, sponsors, etc.) use their influence to raise awareness and mobilize people around social and environmental issues. How can sport become more of a vehicle for social and environmental progress?
