ABSTRACT
Digital health misinformation is having increasingly catastrophic impacts on physical health. For instance, fake news on social media has fueled a tripling in measles cases in the UK. The literature mainly focuses on a few topics related to health misinformation, such as vaccines. However, there is a need to investigate other health misinformation. This talk addresses this limitation by identifying and analyzing health misinformation on Twitter using data science methods. The proposed approach can be used in not only the health domain but also other ones such as business.
