Summary of IÉSEG’s 2022 summer programs
Anchored in IÉSEG’s strategy to become an international hub for tomorrow’s managers, the School’s summer programs give students from all over the world the opportunity to live a unique international experience.
This year, the summer programs are back to being 100% in-class, making the participants very happy. “We are delighted to be able to welcome international students back to our Paris campus and to help them discover the cultural richness of Paris and even of France. This year, we welcomed the largest class since the creation of the summer programs, with more than 160 students,” said Farah Hefied, head of the short-term programs, and Claire Roturier, coordinator of these programs.
In total, these 160 participants from 30 different countries came to France for an international, cultural and business-oriented experience. Five two-week programs were offered in July 2022: Wine Business, Artificial Intelligence & Sustainability, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Fashion Business… not to mention the International Summer Academy, a four-week program offering a variety of business and management courses.
Some thirty professors from 15 different countries were involved in these programs. The students benefited from some 20 “corporate sessions” including workshops (managing fashion shows, the fragrance industry, Stalker Mad Bike, etc.), company visits (Station F, Guerlain, Palais Galliera, Château Mangot, etc.) and conferences (Artificial Intelligence in Business, Paris Capital of Fashion, Blablacar, etc.) By following one of these short-term programs, students acquire ECTS credits that they can use for their future studies or professional life. Beyond the courses, the students had the chance to enjoy cultural activities of their choice: a day in Reims with a visit to Pommery and the cathedral, the Louvres, the Palais de Tokyo, the Garnier opera, Versailles, Montmartre, etc…
In the continuity of these short-term programs, IÉSEG also offers two Winter Programs which will take place in January 2023: the International Business Negotiation program and the Intercultural Management and Marketing program. Those interested can already learn more about these two 4-week programs.
