Thanks to the success of its 2023 recruitment campaign, IÉSEG reaches the symbolic milestone of 200 permanent professors
As part of the implementation of its 2022 – 2027 strategic plan “Inspire – Connect – Transform” and the development of its programs (apprenticeship, Bachelors, specialized Masters and executive education), IÉSEG is wrapping up an ambitious and high-quality academic recruitment campaign and has reached the symbolic milestone of 200 permanent professors with a research mission.
For the start of the 2023 academic year, IÉSEG is announcing the recruitment of 25 new professors with a research mission and postdoctoral researchers, 6 Professors of Practice and 2 Teaching Fellows to bolster its teaching staff on its Lille and Paris-La Défense campuses.
The School also hosts 4 postdoctoral researchers who will take part in research projects funded by public institutions (like the European Commission) or by other research organizations (like ANR – the French National Research Agency is a public administrative institution under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation).
Once again this year, IÉSEG’s recruitment campaign was highly selective, and the School was able to attract top-level talents despite a very competitive global job market.
IÉSEG has once again demonstrated its ability to attract professors from all countries (28 nationalities from all over the world are represented by the new professors), all of the highest standard in teaching and research and all willing to contribute to the School’s Vision and Strategy.
As of September 1, 2023, IÉSEG’s faculty is now made up of 200 full-time professors with a research mission, all of whom hold a doctorate or PhD from prestigious universities such as University of Oxford, Ivey Business School Western University, Stanford University, KU Leuven, etc. Over 85% are international professors, representing no less than 54 different nationalities.
The recruitment of these new professors is designed to strengthen student support, particularly in the School’s new programs, to continue developing Executive Education and research for companies, and to pursue academic projects in CSR and entrepreneurship, in line with the 2022-2027 strategic plan.
