2024 is a special year for IÉSEG, as it celebrates its 60th anniversary.
60 years of innovation, solidarity and achievements, 60 years of commitment from all the teams working closely with students, to prepare them every day to become tomorrow’s changemakers in an ever-changing world. 

To mark the occasion, several special activities will be offered to students, professors, administrative staff, graduates and the School’s partners, culminating in the inauguration of the new buildings on the Lille campus in April 2024.

IÉSEG – a safe bet for 60 years based on solid values

IÉSEG was founded in 1964 by Michel FALISE, an economist and a former Rector of the Université Catholique de Lille. From the outset, this humanist instilled in the School the values of Achievement, Responsibility, Integrity, Solidarity and Commitment that it still embodies every day.

IÉSEG has remained faithful to these values, which have guided its development strategy, and which are deeply rooted in its Vision, articulated in 2015 after a co-creation process that involved all of the School’s stakeholders: “To train and nurture changemakers working for a better society”. 

It is in this spirit that IÉSEG will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2024. As Caroline ROUSSEL, Dean of IÉSEG, explains, “Is is a great pleasure to celebrate this milestone in the life of the School. We invite our entire community to join us in writing the next chapter of our story, which promises to be rich and exciting, so that this anniversary looks to the future”.

Several highlights from January 2024

Under the slogan “A safe bet for 60 years, based on solid values”, this anniversary will be an opportunity to federate and bring together the IÉSEG community around a series of events during the first half of the year: testimonials from students, staff and graduates in 60 videos, the organization of events and conferences, and the sale of a “60 years” limited edition sweater, with part of the sale price donated to  the IÉSEG Foundation to support its actions. Finally, a dedicated website will enable visitors to (re)discover the history of the School since its creation and its development, notably through the evolution of its campuses and key figures, or to take a look back at the outstanding photos of the past six decades.

Celebrating 60 years: the inauguration of the new buildings on the Lille Campus

The month of April will mark the climax of this anniversary with the organization of two celebratory evenings, in Paris – La Défense on April 4, 2024 and in Lille on April 18, 2024.

It will also be the occasion, in Lille, to inaugurate the renovated and extented campus, which is now composed of modern buildings that offer students every comfort for a unique intercultural learning experience.

The IÉSEG Village is the renovation and extension of our historic campus, proof that the School knows how to modernize without forgetting its roots in Lille. The Vauban building is a perfect example of architectural, environmental and societal innovation!”
