Social entrepreneurship: 4th cohort of participants complete the Led By Her program
For more than 4 years, IÉSEG School of Management has been working in partnership with Led By Her and ESCP Europe, to provide a personalized entrepreneurship program to a group of women (over 80 in total) who have experienced violence or difficult personal circumstances.
On June 26th, a special ceremony was organized for the latest class of participants (the 4th cohort) to complete the program, a group of around 20 women who are essentially from the Paris region.
This social incubator, founded by Chiara Condi, mobilizes the entrepreneurial community of the Paris region to give women the opportunity to choose and build the life they desire. Accompanied by a mentor, the participants develop and implement their business creation plans with the help of a team of IÉSEG staff members (around 20 staff over the last 4 years including 15 professors who volunteer their expertise in areas as varied as finance, marketing, communication, negotiation and strategy) and external facilitators/stakeholders.
This year’s ceremony was an opportunity to congratulate the participants and to present the various activities organized during the Led By Her program. Guillaume de Rendinger, Deputy Director of the Paris campus, congratulated all the participants and underlined how LBH was in line with IÉSEG’s vision to empower changemakers for a better society and its commitment to social inclusion.
