A New Logo for IÉSEG: Join the new culture of international business
We are excited to present our new IÉSEG logo at a moment where the school is developing in a fast and dynamic way. It seems obvious to us to see this growth and development reflected by a new visual identity. In 2011 we started a rebranding project consisting of several parts: Definition of IÉSEG’s unique positioning, creation of a unique and recognizable brand with a new visual identity, a new logo and a new website presentation (which will be going live very soon). The new IÉSEG logo combines two elements, an emblem and the IÉSEG lettering. The emblem has the form of a globe composed of several small shapes, differently coloured and of different sizes. The globe stands for the Internationalisation at IÉSEG at all levels and becomes at the same time a symbol for the strong community spirit at the school. The small coloured shapes represent the diversity of cultures and backgrounds coming together (students, staff, faculty, corporate, alumni…) and becoming part of the IÉSEG community. One small shape of the globe has been removed and used in the accented ‘É’ in IÉSEG. Regarding the choice of colors, we must remember above all that yellow is the color of openness and social contact: It is associated with friendship and brotherhood as well as knowledge. The color orange is energizing and invigorating. It is often associated with creativity and communication, as it signifies optimism and openness. IÉSEG believes that the only way to succeed in this borderless world is through understanding business from the perspective of different cultures, corporations and individuals. We believe creating the right environment for study here in France, with the opportunity to learn in English and study abroad, fosters the ideal conditions for multiculturalism.
