AlumnEye, IÉSEG’s partner since 2019, supports students aspiring to careers in finance
Each year, many IÉSEG students join the ‘Finance’ and ‘Audit & Consulting’ tracks of the Grande École Program or the Master in Finance, later pursuing careers in Investment Banking (M&A, ECM, DCM, Sales & Trading, Asset Management, etc.) or in Investment Funds (Private Equity, Venture Capital, etc.). These fields, known for their selective and demanding recruitment processes, require specific preparation to maximize the chances of success.
To enable its students to “secure careers that meet their ambitions” and excel at every stage of the recruitment process, IÉSEG has established a partnership with AlumnEye since 2019. AlumnEye is an expert in preparing students for these fields, relying on professionals from prestigious institutions (Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, McKinsey, BCG, etc.). AlumnEye provides the essential tools to succeed in the complex and specific interviews of these elite sectors.
“AlumnEye’s mission is to equip students with all the necessary tools to pursue a career in the world’s leading financial institutions. Our experts bring their experience to demystify these recruitment processes and help students dissect finance interviews to make them less daunting. The level of expectation is extremely high, as many students apply for these roles. This leaves little room for error in interviews, where candidates are expected to demonstrate a high level of maturity, even when they have little professional experience. Therefore, it’s crucial for students to build a coherent career plan early on, which can take 2 to 3 years to fully materialize. We offer personalized, long-term support, tailored to the specifics of the students and their programs, to give them the best chance of securing the job of their dreams.”
Adrien ROSENBERG, Partner at AlumnEye
As part of this IÉSEG and AlumnEye program, Finance students are supported in building their career plan through the search for Anglo-Saxon internships (Spring, Summer, and Graduate), gap years, or first jobs in top financial institutions.
The program is structured around several key steps:Process and Networking: Application tactics, positioning, and networking strategies to stand out.
– Fit Interviews: Use of recognized methods (STAR, storytelling) to highlight their skills.
– Technical Interviews: Tailored preparation for interviews in Market Finance or Corporate Finance, based on real technical questions.
– Access to AlumnEye’s Private Forum: An exclusive expert network with over 15,000 real interview feedbacks, sorted by bank, position, city, program, examples of online tests, internship offers…
– Networking Events: Invitations throughout the year to events organized by AlumnEye.
“AlumnEye is one of IÉSEG’s key partners. Since 2019, over 200 students have benefited from this program. Proof of its quality and alignment with student expectations, 107 students from the Grande École Program and 33 students from the Master in Finance have enrolled in this demanding course this year. More and more of the School’s graduates are joining institutions such as BNP Paribas, UBS, Société Générale, Cambon Partners, or CACIB in roles such as M&A, Sales, Trading, Asset Management, and many others. Thanks to IÉSEG’s academic excellence, high-level teaching provided by nationally and internationally recognized professors, and this personalized Career support, our students and graduates are accessing prestigious positions and fulfilling their professional ambitions.”
Valérie MARRAGOU, Deputy Director of Corporate Relations
This success is notably reflected in the ranking of IÉSEG’s Master in Finance, which was ranked 26th in the Financial Times’ global ranking of the best Masters in Finance this year.
