‘Crash ton concept’, the IÉSEG Incubator pitch session
The world of entrepreneurship is a dynamic and stimulating landscape, where innovative ideas can come to life. In this vast ecosystem, the IÉSEG Incubator is a place where ideas start to emerge, but not only that… it’s also a dynamic community that fosters collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing. Incubees have access to invaluable resources, experienced mentors and a network of peers sharing similar issues and desires for success.
Recently, the IÉSEG Incubator organized the “Crash ton concept” pitch session on the Lille and Paris campuses, enabling SPARK program incubees to pitch their project and receive constructive feedback from the jury. The SPARK program is aimed at entrepreneurs wishing to test the viability of their idea and define their vision. During the pitch, the creators were able to present the genesis of their project and the steps already taken with the Incubator’s support over the past 6 months. This experience revealed the richness of the emerging entrepreneurial pool to the jury, made up of various stakeholders from the School.
Projects that set new standards
More than just entrepreneurial concepts, the projects presented were also evidence of these young entrepreneurs’ commitment to solving real issues.
Among the selected projects, let’s mention:
- Agri’pétit – a sandwich bar concept developed by Julian GORY (a student in the Master cycle of the Grande École Program), born from his desire to work closely with local farmers in order to pay them a fair price.
- The “BlueYears” project by Marius PACE, a Master’s student in the Grande École program, aims to meet the need of students across France for a social network adapted to their student activities.
- Urban Dogs, an original dog daycare concept, proposed by IÉSEG graduate Elodie PICARD.
In total, no fewer than 15 projects were highlighted during the pitch session.
Towards new horizons: SPARK and beyond
Some incubees who pitched their projects expressed a desire to renew their incubator experience, while others aspired to move on to the START program, a natural transition to more advanced stages of their company’s development. These wishes testify to the added value of the IÉSEG incubator in the entrepreneurial journey.
“Our incubees were delighted to have this opportunity to challenge their project with external views, always kind and never complacent! The board members were delighted to discover these seeds of entrepreneurship that are developing at the IESEG Incubator, and have already given us an appointment for the next Crash ton concept to be held on JUNE 13 in Lille and JUNE 14, 2024 in Paris,” explains Nathalie BERTONE, manager of the SPARK program, Coach Career
