CRÉENSO Competition: launch of the sixth edition

dsc02729The 2016-2017 edition of the CRÉENSO Prize – a national competition for social entrepreneurship – got underway in November with the first meeting between the 15 selected entrepreneurs and the 15 students from IÉSEG who will work together for one year.

Created in 2011, by IÉSEG and the IMMOCHAN Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, this prize aims to reward the creators of a social enterprise in two ways:

  • The fifteen entrepreneurs / social enterprises selected by the organizers benefit from the support and skills of an IÉSEG Master student during an academic year.
  • In the spring of 2017, a total of € 20,000 will be awarded to the 3 best projects (€ 10,000 for the first prize and € 5,000 for other two best projects).

The award seeks to contribute to the success of young companies, which focus on the human and social dimension, and the emergence of a new generation of entrepreneurs in management schools.

On 8 November, the representatives of the 15 companies/organisations (see list below) met their IÉSEG student partner during a lunch at the restaurant “Dans le Noir” (or ‘In the Dark’,  a social venture) followed by an afternoon working together to lay the foundations for their work in the coming months.
