Customized training program for Boulanger Store Managers
In February 2017, IÉSEG started running a training course for 12 store managers from Boulanger, one of the French leaders in technological solutions and household appliances, with over 130 points of sale and 8,000 employees in France.
The group of managers from across France(with an average of 14 years with the company) were chosen by the Boulanger to follow this custom built course entitled “Expert store manager”.
This 12-day, 12-month course has been designed to cover five key areas: strategy, finance, management and leadership, e-business and communication. Through face-to-face and online modules, webinars, peer-coaching sessions, customer meetings and business visits, the 12 participants are trained to become entrepreneurs of change.
“It has been a real pleasure to start each module because the exchanges with the IÉSEG teams are rewarding and intensive,” says Carine, store manager. Christophe (also a Store manager) adds: “there are many ideas to take away and to put in place. We have to reinvent ourselves to best meet the expectations of our customers”.
The aim of this course and the teaching methods used is to develop the agility of the participants in their learning, their way of thinking and acting in order to manage their teams as effectively as possible in a changing environment.
As the company is convinced that happy teams of staff make its customers happy, this course is line with Boulanger’s ambition to help its customers to take full advantage of technologies and the connected world in which we live.
