As part of the development of the School and the implementation of its strategic projects, IÉSEG has created a new Department that will be in charge of developing new activities and supporting the implementation of IÉSEG’s strategic plan.

In light of a changing environment, the main mission of the newly-created Department of Strategic Projects Development will be to propose and implement new activities that complement the School’s current core business to enrich IÉSEG’s existing business model, as well as to support cross-functional strategic projects.

The Department of Strategic Projects Development will support the Management Board in the School’s strategy implementation, as well as in its development and funding. It will work cross-functionally with all departments of the School and will act on behalf of the Management Board in dealing with external stakeholders on strategic projects.

This new department will be led as of May 1st by Maria CASTILLO, who previously served as Director of Social and Environmental Impact.

Myriam DEGRAVE, previously Head of Academic Sustainability, will now serve as Deputy Director of Social and Environmental Impact. She will be responsible for deploying and monitoring IÉSEG’s Sustainable Development strategy in all its dimensions and will represent IÉSEG externally on these topics.
