[News in Brief] Discover “Vauban 27”, the illustrated book about the colossal project to refurbish the new IÉSEG building

In 2021, IÉSEG announced the development and improvement of its campus in Lille, with the acquisition of the former Partenord Habitat headquarters at 27 boulevard Vauban, just a few meters from its existing premises in the heart of Lille’s Vauban district.

Three years later, IÉSEG took possession of this new building, after a titanic renovation project lasting over 3 years. A coffee-table book (in French) entitled “Vauban 27” has been produced to illustrate all the stages of this project, from its conception to the construction phase and, above all, the arrival of the first students in the building.

As Caroline ROUSSEL, Dean of IÉSEG, explains, “this new building is the perfect complement to our Lille campus, boosting the School’s local, national and international reach. This hub is the ideal place to inspire our young people, connect our vast ecosystem, and work together to meet the challenges of transforming our society. Inspire, Connect, Transform are the keywords of our strategic plan.

Vauban 27 was designed and built to have minimal impact on the world around us. This building, located in the heart of Lille’s green lung, is a bridge between the city center and nature, a bright, green place, and offers a perfect balance between biodiversity and minerality.
