Expansion of the IÉSEG Paris-La Defense campus: laying of the foundation stone of the new building
A ceremony was held on the 23rd March to mark the laying of the foundation stone of our new building at La Défense. The event was attended by Yann Jounot, Prefect of the Hauts-de-Seine, Joëlle Ceccaldi-Raynaud, Mayor of Puteaux, Patrick Jarry, Mayor of Nanterre, Bruno Corinti, Deputy CEO at Nexity, Hugues Parant, CEO at EPADESA, and Philippe Depoux, CEO at GECINA, and Marc Delozanne, Chairman of the IÉSEG Board of Trustees.
The project of this new 8000 m² building at La Défense business district, which is just 200m away from the current campus in Grande Arche, has been entrusted to the agency EQUERRE and Franklin Azzi Architecture, a renowned agency which has worked on various projects in France (such as the “Ecole des Beaux Arts” in Nantes) and internationally.
The building will include a lecture theater (290 seats), several classrooms developed specifically for interactive learning, offices, a cafeteria and trading room.
When finalized in September 2017, our Paris-La Defense campus will be able to welcome nearly twice as many students and staff (on a 14 000m² campus) than at present. IÉSEG has also recently finalized a new 2000m² building on its historic campus in Lille and plans to further extend it in the next years.
