On Giving Tuesday, join IÉSEG’s commitment to equal opportunities in higher education
For Giving Tuesday, the World Day of Generosity and Solidarity, IÉSEG and its Foundation invite all its stakeholders to make a commitment to equal opportunity in higher education.
This is a fundamental issue for the School, which signed a partnership with Article 1 in 2021 to help young people from working-class backgrounds gain access to higher education and support them in their success, from high school right through to employment. In March 2024, IÉSEG also signed a long-term partnership with Télémaque, offering a 75% reduction in tuition fees to 4 young people from the association’s mentoring program.
As part of Giving Tuesday 2024, the IÉSEG Foundation aims to raise €50,000 aims to raise €50,000 from the IÉSEG community in France and abroad, as well as from all its stakeholders (including companies), to support young people’s access to higher education and help students financially. These grants will be redistributed in early 2025 to students in financial difficulty.
As Matthieu, an IÉSEG graduate and donor to the IÉSEG Foundation’s “Equal Opportunity” scholarships, explains, “ I’m very attached to the values of social openness and equal opportunity, and I deeply believe that education is one of the most powerful means of promoting them. As an alumnus of IÉSEG, I was able to benefit from excellent training that has enabled me to build a rich and fulfilling career. It is essential for me that this opportunity be accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of social background or financial means. Supporting the IÉSEG Foundation is a way for me to contribute to a fairer future and to enable talented people from all backgrounds to benefit from the same opportunity. ”
> You too can support the IÉSEG Foundation!
For the past 2 years, IÉSEG and its Foundation have rolled out a number of projects related to social inclusion and equal opportunities.
On December 3, IÉSEG is inviting all its stakeholders to take part in an online round table entitled “Social Inclusion & Equal Opportunity”. It will enable everyone to discover the “Equal Opportunity” strategy as well as the scholarship scheme supported by the IÉSEG Foundation.
Inspiring testimonials from sponsors and donors (whether parents, graduates or corporate partners, such as Cofidis, which has just made a 3-year commitment to the School) will highlight the role of the IÉSEG Foundation in the day-to-day support provided to high-school pupils, students and young graduates, before, during and after their studies at the IÉSEG School.
