IÉSEG Career Day 2020: a 100% digital forum !

The next edition of IÉSEG Career Day Forum will take place on 5 and 6 November in an innovative format. Due to the exceptional circumstances related to the ongoing pandemic, the recruitment event will this year be held online.

This format has also been designed to adapt to the new academic calendar for students in the 3rd year and in the Master cycle. Exchanges between companies and students will be facilitated thanks to the Swapcard digital platform which will ensure optimal quality over the two days.

More than 60 French and international companies and more than 600 students are expected to join this online event.

The use of Swapcard will allow companies to easily access candidates’ profiles, to plan individual appointments allowing them to interact and to enhance their employer brand by publicising their organisation thanks to a virtual stand and the organisation of dedicated webinars.

In the current health context, companies are being led to rethink their HR processes and adapt their recruitment methods.

IÉSEG students are prepared for these new recruitment methods, notably via the Career Programme, as Valérie Marragou, head of IÉSEG’s Career Center, explains: “the support offered in our programme is based on practical applications (interviews, presentation pitches, video interviews, etc.) largely integrating digital tools (MyJobGlasses, Zoom, Panopto, Visiotalent, etc.), which enables us to prepare our students as closely as possible for this new reality of recruitment. They also benefit from a specific Career Day preparation session integrated into their course, enabling our coaches to focus on the key tips for a successful forum: getting to know the company, identifying the contacts, the sector of activity, the professions, key skills, etc.”

This digital experience promises to be rich, innovative and facilitating exchanges with candidates.
