IÉSEG gains AMBA accreditation and joins elite group of international business schools with the “triple crown”
By obtaining the Association of MBAs (AMBA) accreditation, IÉSEG School of Management today joins an elite group of international business schools (less than 1% in the world) that hold the “triple crown” of international accreditations (AMBA, AACSB, EQUIS).
Jean-Philippe Ammeux, Director of IÉSEG, notes: “IÉSEG has obtained the three principal international accreditations in the last four years (EQUIS in 2012 and AACSB in 2013) which underlines the dynamism of the School. The AMBA accreditation recognizes and rewards the efforts of all stakeholders and marks another important step in the School’s development. It will enhance our reputation both in France and internationally.”
The Association of MBAs uses rigorous assessment criteria to ensure that only highest calibre programs which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve accreditation. Unlike many business education accreditation bodies it focuses in detail on individual programs (MBAs, DBAs, and Masters in business and management) rather than whole institutions. Three of IÉSEG’s programs have been evaluated and accredited by AMBA: its two MBA programs (Executive MBA and International MBA) and its Master of Science in International Business.
The auditors underlined for example the School’s commitment to internationalization which promotes a positive learning experience, both culturally and pedagogically. They also noted the Schools efforts in terms of pedagogic innovation and development, the emphasis on support for research, and student diversity across the programs.
