IÉSEG student’s charity challenge for Christmas
Arthur Berthault, a 3rd year student in the Grand École program, recently ran a very successful charity initiative in Lille over the Christmas period. Together with friends, he launched a challenge on Facebook to collect 3,000 presents to distribute to homeless people in the city of Lille over Christmas.
Arthur came up with the idea after meeting with a homeless person in Lille and through his social entrepreneurship course at the School. The initiative, quickly created a buzz in the French media and on social networks, and more than 20, 000 objects (clothing, food ..) were collected and distributed in 3000 packs.
