IÉSEG team wins the French final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge

On the 23rd of March, a team of 5 IÉSEG students won the French final of the CFA Research Challenge. The team will now represent France in the regional final (EMEA) that will take place on 26-27 April in Prague.

finale CFAThis international challenge, organized by the CFA Institute, is a prestigious financial competition that attracts more than 775 universities/business schools and 3,500 students globally. It is an annual initiative that aims at selecting the best student equity research reports.

18 institutions competed in the CFA Challenge in France: AUDENCIA School of Management, EDHEC Business School, EMLYON Business School, ESCP Europe Business School, ESSEC Business School, Grenoble School of Management, IAE Gustave Eiffel, ICN Business School, IÉSEG School of Management, NEOMA Business School, Toulouse Business School, University Lille II, University of Angers, University of Monaco, University of Montpellier I, University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, University Paris II Panthéon-Assas,  University Paris IX Dauphine.

The 4 best teams (ESSEC, IÉSEG, Toulouse Business School and University Lille 2) were then selected for the French final to present the results of their analysis to a jury of professional experts.

The team of IÉSEG students represented by Anne-Laure GIRAUD, Jia-Yi HE, Victor MURZEAU, Nicolas TABOR and Dan ZHOU and supported by a professional mentor (Chloé LEMARIE) and a university coach (Professor Yulia TITOVA from IÉSEG) has won the final. The team will now go on to the regional final in Prague where it will be up against the other national winners from across the EMEA.
