Executive Education: “Manager-developer” program for CIC Nord-Ouest branch managers
Since November 2016, IÉSEG has been working with 16 regional branch managers from the CIC banking group through a customized management training program.
The program, lasting a total of 17 days spread over 7 months, included thematic courses, collective workshops and business games led by experts from IÉSEG and the CIC. The main objective was to develop participants’ knowledge relating to economics and management in the banking sector, as well as to look at different strategic, organizational, commercial and human issues. The managers were therefore able to develop their vision and understanding of different challenges (both present and future) in the banking sector.
The ” Manager-developer ” program also focused on “soft skills”, and the personal and relational skills which can improve managerial and commercial performance and decision-making. The pedagogy used by IÉSEG Executive Education is designed to facilitate interaction, problem-sharing and exchange of good practice.
To complete the program, the managers carried out a Learning Expedition to London where they visited companies/organizations in the banking and insurance sector such as the Bank of England and Lloyds. The expedition ended with a cultural tour of the Tate Modern, the International Modern Art Museum.
