The university, founded in 1653, is located in the historic-geographical centre of Bogotá, known as “The Cradle of the Republic”. Nowadays the institution is based on secular ideas and remains very influential in Colombian culture and public life: at least 28 of Colombia’s presidents have been students of this university. With 13,000 students, it is the only Colombian university that made an accreditation process, supported by the European University Association (EUA). It is ranked as “Very Superior” by the ICFES (“Colombian Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education”).
Within this double-degree agreement at bachelor level, Rosario and IÉSEG students will be on exchange in the 3rd year of their Bachelor for a year and they will get a Bachelor diploma from the partner institution.
