IÉSEG’s portfolio of Specialized Masters evolves to better meet companies’ needs
Every year, more than 350 students of over 50 different nationalities come to IÉSEG to study one of the 12 Specialized Masters – all of which have been awarded the “grade de Master”. Audit, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship or CSR, the Specialized Masters* cover all fields of business and enable students with at least a Bachelor’s degree to build up the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in these fields and enter the job market with confidence, whether in France or abroad.
With the rapid development of new technologies, such as generative AI tools, and the emergence of new professions related to sustainability, as well as increasingly complex economic, regulatory and societal issues, companies’ needs for skills and training are constantly evolving. To better respond to these new expectations, IÉSEG is upgrading its portfolio of Specialized Masters programs, with a complete makeover of 4 Specialized Masters.
> Master in AI & Data Analytics for Business
Formerly entitled “Big Data Analytics for Business”, the content of the Master in AI & Data Analytics for Business has been redesigned to integrate AI and data analysis. Students will be able to take up positions as varied as Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist, Consumer Intelligence Expert, Customer Insights Manager, Financial Analyst, Credit Scoring Analyst or Fraud Detection Analyst.
In addition to the advanced teaching provided by recognized experts, based on cutting-edge AI and data science methodologies and technologies that are perfectly in tune with business requirements, students will learn to evolve in a hyper-connected world, where data is omnipresent, and be able to develop their company’s financial, marketing and sales strategy using AI data and tools. To this end, each student will receive a personal laptop, equipped with all the necessary software, which they will keep afterwards.
Last but not least, the highlight of the Master in AI & Data Analytics for Business program will be the “AI & Data Analytics Hackathon”, a unique, real-life experience in solving a data science problem. Over a 4-month period, students will be divided into teams and asked to come up with a data-driven solution that can be implemented in practice by the partner company.
> Master in International Sales Management & Negotiation
The Master in International Sales Management & Negotiation now replaces the Master in International Business Negotiation. The content has been fine-tuned to train future managers to develop effective negotiation strategies, conducting negotiation processes and reaching agreements in today’s globalized world. This Master’s degree will provide students with the knowledge they need to better understand customer needs at every stage of the sales process, come up with creative customer-centric solutions and master all aspects of business negotiation in an international and multicultural context.
Understanding one’s own sales and negotiation style, mastering the art of communication and developing the interpersonal skills essential for career development: these are all essential steps on the road to becoming a Key Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Digital Marketing Analyst or HR Business Partner.
The Master in International Sales Management & Negotiation offers many advantages. Based on an interactive learning style, this Master offers students a full year’s experience in sales, key account management, customer success, negotiation, marketing, supply chain management, communication, leadership and conflict management. What’s more, it will equip each student with an effective toolbox for developing their skills in sales strategy, sales approaches and global negotiation, which they will be able to put to very practical use in any future professional situation, whatever their sector of activity. Finally, students will also be able to obtain the AKAM qualification, a professional qualification in Key Account Management widely recognized in the corporate world. > Master in Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Management
Formerly known as the Master in Digital Marketing & CRM, the Master in Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Management trains all students who want to succeed in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Management. These two related fields are evolving at an ever-increasing pace due to technological and digital developments, which have completely changed the practice of marketing and led to new ways of communicating, marketing and interacting with customers. Building long-term relationships with them and delivering an exceptional customer experience has become the top priority for all marketing professionals in this fast-changing environment.
Created by academic and professional experts, the Master in Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Management takes an interactive approach to the fundamentals of online business, understanding consumer behavior, developing websites, optimizing omni-channel digital strategies and communications, and integrating new innovations. This Master’s degree will also help students use new digital information systems and manage databases effectively to improve customer relations and make the decision-making process easier.
Finally, students will have the opportunity to obtain several certifications (Google Ads Search, RGPD compliance certification, HubSpot Inbound Marketing & Content Marketing certification, or Hootsuite Social Marketing certification), and in particular Google Analytics certification, which is highly sought-after on the job market and will enable students to effectively run digital campaigns. To prepare, students will work on the Google Analytics accounts of international non-profit organizations to gain real experience in analyzing the data these companies accumulate.
> Master in Impact Entrepreneurship
Previously called Master in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, the Master in Impact Entrepreneurship is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to combine financial objectives with ethical and social value creation. The program focuses on the development of sustainable business models that improve environmental performance. Participants engage in action-based learning, immersing themselves in a world-class entrepreneurial ecosystem while tackling the global challenges of the 21st century.
The Master in Impact Entrepreneurship takes place over several semesters, designed to progressively deepen students’ expertise and experience, which will ultimately empower them.
The first semester, “Igniting Entrepreneurs” introduces students to the fundamentals of impact entrepreneurship through experiential learning. In the second semester, “Testing Ideas” will enable students to engage in ecosystem immersion and business start-ups, testing their ideas in real-world environments and participating in bootcamps in Madrid and Paris with impact companies from around the world. The third semester, “Expanding Horizons”, offers global exposure through participation in the European Innovation Academy, complemented by a hands-on innovation sprint and a four-week observation period at an impact start-up. The final semester, “Launching”, focuses on real-world application: either by discovering the world of impact entrepreneurship from the inside, during an internship, or by working on their own impact start-up in the Incubator.
This unique program will enable student entrepreneurs (there are many at IÉSEG) to combine profit with a positive impact on the world and on society.
