The “People – Planet – Profit” interdisciplinary project: Antea Group highlights the work of IÉSEG students in its CSR report

Every year, 2nd-year Bachelor students from the Grande École program take part in a major interdisciplinary project, the “People – Planet – Profit” project. Over the course of a semester, students work on specific issues put forward by companies, associations or public institutions, with the aim of proposing concrete solutions that can be implemented in a highly operational way.

The pedagogical objectives of this project revolve around understanding the social, environmental and financial challenges facing companies, to help them make better decisions and optimize their impact measurement, so as to act in a balanced and consistent way, integrating these challenges and adopting a long-term strategic dimension.

Antea Group at IÉSEG

As part of this “People – Planet – Profit” project, Antea Group asked 6 groups of students to reflect on the keys to decision-making in defining the company’s responsible purchasing process.

As a major global player in environmental engineering and consulting, with over 3,200 employees worldwide (Europe, America, Asia, Africa and Latin America), Antea Group offers its customers global, sustainable solutions in the fields of water, industrial environment, infrastructure, and environmental data acquisition and management.

Two groups of students* were given the opportunity to present their recommendations to Antea Group’s CEO. The proposals developed by the students will be used to provide concrete input for the company’s “Bilan Carbone®” action plan, with a view to improving its performance. Indeed, Antea Group is already committed to the three dimensions of sustainable consumption (better disposal, better consumption and better purchasing), and a general process of responsible purchasing will help to make its practices more consistent.
