IÉSEG student wins “Pitch Your Start Up” competition
IÉSEG student Sharan Sai, who comes from India, has recently been announced as one of the three winners of the “Pitch Your Start Up” contest* organized by the Embassy of India in Paris in association with the Project X Group.
Each contestant had around 10 minutes to pitch in front of a jury of professionals in Paris. Following two selection rounds, Sharan was rewarded for his entrepreneurial project “Nourritage”, a start up which is aiming to provide authentic, affordable food.
“Getting authentic food for an affordable price is very difficult in Europe. I thought of bridging this gap between people who can cook authentic food and people who want to buy great food at an affordable price,” explains Sharan, a student in the Grand Ecole Master Cycle at IÉSEG, who has finished his Bachelor’s in international business administration at Christ College in Bangalore, India.
Thanks to Project X and the Indian Embassy in Paris, Sharan now has the possibility to ‘incubate’ his entrepreneurial project under a sponsored mentorship program for three months, culminating in a ‘Demo Day’ before investors. He will also have dedicated access to a co-working infrastructure, master class sessions, tailored coaching and more…
*The contest has been designed to assist & accompany individuals from the Indian diaspora, to establish their entrepreneurial ventures in Europe.
