It is also recommended to check with your insurance whether they will also cover your personal liability during your stay in France.
All students from EU/EEA countries should bring a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), obtainable in their own home countries. Expenses related to dental care and illnesses contracted before arrival in France are not covered.
IÉSEG Short-Term Programs office does not ask for the insurance document for the application process. However, please note that an insurance document with sufficient coverage is essential for a safe journey abroad. Please, note that students applying for a visa are required to show proof of insurance for their stay in France. More information can be found on the French government wesbite.
The insurance document must cover you during the whole duration of your stay in France. It is the student’s own responsibility to make insurance arrangements for any accident, illness, injury, loss or damage to persons or property resulting from, or in any way connected with the study period in France.
