Short-Term Programs FAQ
Summer Programs
IÉSEG Summer Programs are both for undergraduate and early graduate students coming from all disciplines. To be eligible, you need to be at least 18 years old on the first day of the program. You also need to be in one of the following categories:
> Student in an institution of higher education pursuing a degree
> Student who graduated from an institution of higher education in the last 3 years before application.
A good command of English is required as all courses are taught fully in English. Non-native speakers must provide an English Proficiency test: TOEFL IBT 90, IELTS 6.0, TOEIC 900, BULATS 70, Cambridge B2 First, Duolingo 115 or an English letter attesting to the level of the student. Native English speakers or candidates who have followed two years of courses taught in English are exempt.
For your participation in our International Summer Programs you will be granted the ECTS credits as follows:
> Entrepreneurship and Innovation Summer Program: 6 ECTS
> Fashion Business Summer Program: 6 ECTS
> Digital Marketing Summer Program : 6 ECTS
> Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability Summer Program: 6 ECTS
> International Summer Academy: 8 ECTS
Most international colleges and universities accept credits from the IÉSEG School of Management. However, each institution has its own policy regarding credit acceptance from other institutions. We strongly recommend that the students consult their academic advisor and/or professor to receive credit transfer approval before applying to IÉSEG Summer Programs. The students who would like to transfer credits to their home universities should print out all documents and contact the professor or study abroad advisor and ask for credit and grade approval.
The fees include:
> All in-class teaching
> All course materials
> Academic transcripts in ECTS format and IÉSEG certificate
> IÉSEG student card giving access to the library, computers and internet facilities
> Paris transportation card (uncharged)
> A comprehensive housing package
> Accommodation in single room
> Housing insurance
> 2 cultural activities of your choice
The application deadline is April 15th ; however, we recommend applying earlier in order to have the full choice of courses.
Once you complete the full application procedure, we issue a Letter of Admission indicating that you have been admitted to the program, stating the period of time, and the residence where you will be staying (if you choose to take the housing package).
You will need to pay the total fees via Flywire* (on the application platform) within 7 days to confirm your spot in the program.
*Flywire provides a secure global payment network that simplifies paying your fees from your home country. Payment options can include bank transfers, credit cards, e-wallets and more, in your home currency.
It is highly recommended that students have an insurance that covers any possible costs of medical expenses, repatriation, and personal liability for the whole duration of the program ( More information on the program page under the “admission and fees” section).
Visa requirements differ depending on your country of origin; we suggest you contact the French Consulate in your country in order to know which procedures you should follow indicated on https://france-visas.gouv.fr/en_US/web/france-visas.
For the Summer Programs, students need to apply for a tourist visa for touristic purposes
HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM
To be eligible for the high school summer program, you need to be at least 16 years old on the first day of the program. You also need to be in the following categories:
> Student enrolled in a high school
> Candidates must have a strong academic performance and a good command of English (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL IBT 90, TOEIC 900, Cambridge Exam B2, Duolingo 115, BULATS 70). Native speakers or candidates who followed two years of courses taught in English or worked in an English-speaking environment for a minimum of two years are exempt.

You will be granted one certificate of participation and a 4 ECTS transcript for your participation in our High School Summer Program.

This letter also states the program dates and that you will be staying in a host family. An additional letter will be sent to you with the address and information of your host family.

IÉSEG offers airport pickups to the participants of the High School Summer Programs only. The driver will pick up the students at the airport and take them to their host families. Please, note that this service is subject to an extra fee.
