Grande École Program – Major in Finance, class of 2023
Chairman of Revolia
France
Before coming to IÉSEG, I obtained a scientific baccalaureate from the Saint-Dominique high school in Saint-Herblain, a town near Nantes.
I chose IÉSEG because it was the best post-bac business school. In fact, I was looking for a prestigious institution without having to go through a preparatory program. I wanted to get straight down to business and work in a large company in finance, which is why I chose the Grande École program with the major in Finance. In the end, entrepreneurship won my heart.
What I particularly appreciated at IÉSEG was the opportunity to join associations to gain professional skills and soft skills, in addition to coursework. It’s very professionalizing and that’s how I knew I loved communications and marketing, as well as managing a team. I also particularly enjoyed my university exchange in Taiwan, which gave me a great cultural insight on top of meeting some wonderful people.
I’m currently Chairman of Revolia, one of the companies I set up during my studies. We support employees and those in professional transition by training them in a new digital profession in 3 months, alongside their activity, notably thanks to AI.
I was lucky enough to get an early start in entrepreneurship, so I was able to continue my business after graduating, since it was viable and profitable. So if I had one piece of advice to give to students, it would be to get into entrepreneurship as early as possible! There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain when you’re still studying.
My studies at IÉSEG helped me by providing a 360° view of all the key elements of a business (accounting, strategy, marketing, sales etc.), a network and a structure that helped me to be a better entrepreneur. I also benefited from the IÉSEG incubator, which provided me with some support and premises to work.
Finally, my best memory of IÉSEG is the association campaigns, where you work day and night on a project to win as a team. All in all, it was a great introduction to the world of entrepreneurship without even knowing it ;)
