The Master in Business Analysis & Consulting has equipped me with the skill-set necessary to compete in the international job market.

I first discovered IÉSEG during a 6-month exchange program at the School’s Lille campus while I was studying at Ryerson University in Canada.
After finishing my degree, I decided to come back to follow the Master in Business Analysis & Consulting. My aim was to refine and further develop my analytical and presentation skills that, in my opinion, are important in the workforce.

I really appreciated the diversity at the School; in terms of its faculty, staff and students. Learning from everyone’s international experience provides a rich educational experience.
I particularly enjoyed the courses with hands-on exposure to real business processes, namely in the courses on Project Management, Statistics for Consulting, Business Modelling and Change Management.

I spent my 6-month internship with an aerospace software company working on the Product Management team in Montreal, Canada, before taking up the position of Product Marketing Manager with a leading IP Security multinational company.

The Master in Business Analysis & Consulting has equipped me with the skill-set necessary to compete in the international job market. Furthermore, I managed to pay back the tuition in less than one year as I found a high-value management position that I would not have gotten without this degree.

Before joining IÉSEG, I worked in Lebanon for almost 3 years in different companies. Prior to my arrival at the school, I collaborated in a project as an Associate Consultant for three months on a temporary contract for an organization client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Even though it was only provisional, the work I undertook gave me an outlook on the consulting work environment, which helped me relate my experience to the coursework in IÉSEG’s Business Analysis and Consulting program.

This program has allowed me to challenge myself on different levels of organization, time management and teamwork. I am grateful to have been exposed to a diverse group of students and professors from different backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. I believe this diversified setting has permitted me to learn from different mindsets about significant topics in the business world and consultancy.

The program provides students with the relevant tools and knowledge to set them up for their future work lifestyle. The analysis of real-life case studies and practical simulations motivated me to embrace my creativity and enhance my classroom interaction skills. Furthermore, the variety of concepts and models the program offers, both qualitative and quantitative, stimulates critical thinking and allows students to utilize the learning in order to tackle issues and dilemmas emerging in our global economy.

My experience at IÉSEG has been an unforgettable journey!

Before joining IÉSEG, I worked as a civil engineer for a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia.
As time passed and I grew within the organization, I realized the importance of being able to analyze and understand the business as a whole in order to deliver insights that lead to better decision-making. I therefore began to look at postgraduate programs that would improve my understanding of business and enable me to fulfill my aim to work in the consulting sector.

My decision to study at IÉSEG was mainly due to the holistic design of the Master in Business Analysis and Consulting program. Other key factors were the School’s reputation, its Paris campus, which lies in Europe’s largest business district (La Défense), the length of the program, and the level of tuition fees which are very reasonable.

I have particularly appreciated the international diversity of my fellow participants and the nature of the classes. These have been very interactive, and required extensive peer collaboration when solving business cases or when working on projects.
While all the courses are tailored to provide students with valuable knowledge I have particularly enjoyed those on Project Management, Statistics for Consulting, and Supply Chain Management. These provided a fine balance between theory and real-life cases which challenged my analytical thinking.

I completed the Master in Business Analysis and Consulting (MBAC) program at IÉSEG in 2016. I have worked at Deloitte UK since.

The program helps build and nurture the skills, values and attributes required to maintain and develop a successful career within consulting. The variety and relevance of the courses taught through the MBAC are well crafted and suited for preparing students for life in Consulting and other related professions.

From time to time, I contact different IÉSEG alumni, be it to catch up or to give advice on working in London (in the context of working at Deloitte or in Consulting in general). In October 2018, I presented different opportunities at Deloitte UK to the current MBAC class at IÉSEG. I also explained to them how they can best use the program as a platform to hit the ground running in Consulting.

The international dimension in my job is extremely important. Globalization is everywhere, including in the formation of the modern workforce. Deloitte is no different. We operate globally and have an international presence in all offices and client projects. IÉSEG helps demonstrate the value of understanding different working cultures and the importance of working in an internationally dynamic team.

Before coming to IÉSEG to pursue its Master in Business Analysis and Consulting, I studied for 4 years at Excelia La Rochelle, obtaining a Master 1 in International Sales. As my studies were also in English, I was well prepared for my entry to IÉSEG. I then worked for 4 years in the luxury hotel industry in Brussels (as a receptionist), before deciding to change career paths.

I chose IÉSEG first and foremost because of the content of its Master in Business Analysis and Consulting, which seemed to me to be of very high quality and useful for my professional life. Secondly, I knew that IÉSEG had a strong reputation, not only locally but also internationally. By interacting with members of the program, they convinced me that I would fit in well at this School.

I really appreciated the support we received during the Master. Whether it was the program director, Christine DI MARTINELLY, or the administrative manager, Fabrice COQUET, we were constantly guided and supported. The professionalism and exacting standards of the various professors definitively consolidated my vision of this School.
